Abraham grew up spiritually on the Miracle Bible School compound founded by the late Rev. Clyde V. Shields in 1959. He was saved and trained there through prophecy by an American lady evangelist who visited the compound in 1973. In 1976, he finished his Bible training and joined the teaching staff, pastored the Miracle Church and was the armor bearer of Rev. Shields until Rev. Shields graduated to Glory in 1983. Within those years, he traveled with visiting Missionaries and preached the Gospel to all parts of Northern Luzon as their interpreter. The Miracle Compound is the most visited place by foreign missionaries from all over the world.

Stella was raised up spiritually since childhood under the Assembly of God. Her parents and grandparents were saved and healed during the T.L. Osborn crusade in 1952 in Baguio City. They were nurtured by their local pastors. She finished her Bible training together with Abraham. She joined the teaching staff, and was the administrator of the orphanage and the Bible school registrar for ten years. Within those years, during summer breaks, she received training in Social work under the management of World Vision to qualify her to manage a child residential care agency.

Abraham & Stella were married in 1976. They have a son, an only child named Ray Matthews. In 1987 they started their ministry called Christian Praise Fellowship with the ff. functional programs under it. The church outreaches pioneered by their own Pastors in the mountains are: the orphanage, the christian school, the 27 year old radio Gospel program and the soon to open Bible training this year 2007 to help them in their newly opened outreaches in the provinces of La Union and Ilocos Sur.

The HOME:
The Home has now a total number of 50 children aged 7-17 years old. There are 35 girls and 15 boys. There are 5 college students, 10 highschoolers and 35 in the elementary level. All the children are working hard and doing their best in school.  Everthing is moving smoothly in the Home though there are so many needs to be met.
