Brief history of the Home:
In 1987 there were 30 neglected children from the different mountains of Cordillera who were referred to our small church fellowship for temporary residential care. Some of them were orphans, abandoned, foundling and fatherless. In order to serve and care for them legally, the Home was established as a non-profiit and a charitable institution. After a month of caring for them, they became newly-born again christians and they filled the Home with their praises, worship and prayers daily. Due to their daily non-stop praises, we named the Home Christian Praise Children's Home.
To update the number of children being cared for almost 20 years, there are 300 of them who became christians with good jobs and are still serving the Lord. There are about 20 of them who are in the full time ministry
Vision:
All neglected children will achieve dignity, self-esteem, and self sufficiency through residential care.
Mission:
To help improve the quality of life of the neglected children by providing programs and services.
The programs and services rendered to them are the following:
1. Spiritual
2. Food and personal needs
3. Education
4. Health care
5. Recreation/Sports
6. Community Participation (Outreach)
7. Skills Training
8. Social Services
The monthly cost to sponsor a child is $USD50.00. This is to cover the
child's priority needs of food, personal needs and education only. |

The HOME:
The Home has now a total number of 50 children aged 7-17 years old. There are 35 girls and 15 boys. There are 5 college students, 10 highschoolers and 35 in the elementary level. All the children are working hard and doing their best in school. Everthing is moving smoothly in the Home though there are so many needs to be met.
